Skylanders Evolvers is the 1st installment of the Skylanders franchise by Zeonox. It is the sequel to Skylanders Imaginators and it introduces a new team of Skylanders: the Evolvers!
Development[]
The idea for Skylanders Evolvers was first thought up in 2012. However, the idea was later scrapped for an unknown reason. In 2015, the idea was brung back up. The first developed character was Cosmoroid. At the time, he was named Astroblast, however due to the name being taken in Activision's Skylanders SuperChargers, his name was changed. The basic idea of the game was to have Skylanders powerup as a result of fighting evil. The development finally ended in July 2017 before the toys were made.
Story Summary[]
Kaos' new idea of using Titanic Magic to create powerful monsters succeeded and he has spawned 10 Titans and many minions too. It's up to the Skylanders to take Kaos and his Titans down. Using the great power of the Evolvium, an enchanted crystal found in the depths of the infinite islands in Skylands, you now have the ability to bond the crystal with the team of Evolvers enchancing their abilities and giving them the legendary Evo-Destroyer ability.
